Cleveland State High School is located in the Redlands, a city to the south east of Brisbane that has undergone a large population growth. The School now has the 4th largest student population within the Queensland State Education system. A large covered area to be utilised as a Student Engagement centre was commissioned by the Queensland Education Department.
IRT Roofing selected DeltaTrim™-EPS-FR panels with a 150mm core, offered a ready-made solution that could meet the project’s technical requirements. All the roofing panels were finished with a Shale Grey trapezoid top sheet and a Surf Mist interlocking steel under-skin.
The roof was designed as a cantilever divided into 6 separate sections. Half of the roof requiring the panels to span 15470 mm while the balance of the roof panels measured 11850mm.
